Sending our Books Out into the World

I have a love/hate relationship with technology, as I'm sure many of you have as well.  I LOVE my computer and the internet and blogs and all of the opportunities that technology creates.  But sometimes (like when it isn't working properly....) well, lets just say that my patience fades quickly.

When technology fails me, there is nothing like cracking open a favorite book to read; or to read again.  Considering I've been having nothing but problems with technology, I am very anxious to receive a book from my swap partner soon!

For those of you who have joined in this month's swap, you should be posting your book today, if possible.  If not, it really does need to go out in the next few days.  I understand that there have been some problems with swap partners connecting, so I'm asking you to PLEASE contact your swap partner (and reply if they contact you!).  It is your responsibility to get their mailing address from them (just post a comment at their blog asking for it). 

If you have not yet been contacted by the person who is supposed to be sending to you, please send me an email and I will try my best to contact them for you.  I hope that everyone can play nice and enjoy a new book, and a new friendship!

I got my book from Mary Ann today (Friday 2/16)...and not only is it a wonderful book with lovely sayings and inspirational stories by Mr. Rogers (who could resist that gentle man?) it also had music, magnets, candy and tea bags. Thanks Mary Ann!

You have my sympathy, Tanaya! I can't stand it when technology starts working against me, and it always seems to do that just when you need it most, eh?! ;) Thank you for hosting this swap - it's a good one, and I have had terrible trouble narrowing my choices down - every time I think I've decided, another one springs to mind! :)
