Thursday, Photo Day

Hey there!

I'm your new host for Photo Thursday at Create a Connection. I've just ended my stint as host of Getting to Know You Wednesday, so I'm still craving a little knowledge about y'all.

Take a photograph of something in your home that you treasure. Tell us why. Then post a link back here to share your treasure.  

This is a delicate porcelain egg cup from Italy. My friend's mother, Joan, gave it to me around 1991. She said it was just laying around collecting dust in her basement. She had a feeling I would like it, and I do. I love the blues and the reds and the greens. She passed away unexpectedly in 1996, and seeing this reminds me of her.
