justBeConnected was started in January 2007 to help foster Connections amongst Creative Bloggers. The archives are chock full of inspirational stories, creative challenges, and lovely links posted by women from our Creative Blogging Community.

Our new format at justBeConnected kicked off in July 2008. Several Creative Bloggers have generously offered to share their talents and insights with us by posting on a regular basis.
Here is a brief introduction about your contributors and what they will be posting about:
Monday ~ I will be posting about what I have been reading, listening to, and watching. I LOVE when you leave comments with your entertainment suggestions.
Each Season I also host a Random Re-Gift Swap.

Thursday ~ Mother Henna seems to spend as much time surfing as she does making art. Each Thursday she will plunge into the history of her browser and share what she's swum through during the past week. Sometimes it's all a splash in the beauty of other artists' sites and blogs, sometimes it's a plunge into the submission guidelines of various publication, sometimes a kick board thru YouTube videos that show "how to" do this and that. You just never know what you'll find in Mother's history. Get your fins and flippers and come swim with Mother!

Friday ~ Goddess Leonie will be posting some Fridays goddess art to inspire and uplift. Goddess Leonie is an artist, writer, photographer and retreat creator living beneath the sage and lavendar mountains of Canberra, Australia. She is a documentor of all things sacred, and a big believer that inside every woman is a Goddess. Her art is all about this. Saturday ~ Some Saturdays Scarlett will wander through several of the Creative Blogger sites – interviewing the owners, perhaps those who wander the sites frequently as well, and searching for the wonderful ideas that have remained hidden in the dark corners of the net!! She will pull out the hidden inspiration from the blogs she rambles through – sharing that with all of you! Scarlett (aka Becca Robinson) is a wife, mother, psychologist, and strega. Her journaling and blogging are now focused on allowing the deep emotions of her inner self to flow out – and become a focal part of her newly discovered artistic self! Sunday ~ Every Sunday Jodie will be posting about a book from her reading history that she loved and thinks will inspire you. She'll be looking at the story, posting quotes that encourage all sorts of ideas to grow and illuminating the paths of inspiration that the writer has followed, with some handy links for those interested in doing more research. From the rhythm of language to the beauty of a well designed book cover, Jodie will offer up all her favourites in the hope that they lead you down a creative trail.
