As you can see I changed the site around a bit. When I was at my sister-in-laws last week I noticed on her computer that the middle column gets squished. Hopefully everything is easier to read now.

Please join me in supporting Deb. I would paraphrase the email she wrote me, but it is so complete that I am just pasting it here:
On Sunday, 5/20, I am walking in a rather big 12K race. It is the first time in my life that I have entered a race of any kind. It's only 7.5 miles and will not be a physical challenge; it's the psychological commitment that's big for me. OK, so there is this 11.5% climb up a hill during the race! After that it's all downhill to the ocean.
I should cross the start line about 8:30 am Pacific time, and finish up 2 - 2.5 hours later. (depending on how talented I get at text messaging while walking). I would appreciate any positive thoughts during this time (or psychic energy boosts!). For any other "addicts" I will be trying to update what's happening on the walk on Twitter.( I am http://twitter.com/darinhercules ). I might even figure out how to send photos to my Flickr account (absolutely no promises there). Yep, I'm darinhercules there, too! http://www.flickr.com/photos/darinhercules/
The current ultimate goal is in 2 years: hike the Grand Canyon in the spring of 2009. My largest obstacle will be finding to hike it with; but I believe if you tell the universe what you need, it will come to you.
