Time to Celebrate Autumn with our Fall Random Re-Gift Swap!

This is a great swap for first timers and experienced swappers alike.

You will be sending and receiving from the same person.

In the comments please include what country you are from and if you are willing to swap outside of the USA.

On Saturday September 13th I will close the comments and then on Sunday September 14th I will list the swap partners in a post here at justBeConnected with a link to your partner's email. You will need to contact your partner to find out what she likes, get her mailing address, and hopefully make a connection.

Even though I don't always keep in touch with my swap partners I truly appreciate all the wonderful treasures and sentiments that have been sent my way. Daily (and I am not exaggerating here!) I use something sent to me from a Creative Blogger!

Once I know who my partner is I usually get a box and walk around my house and just fill it up with stuff. I don't have a set amount of items I send, I just let my intuition be my guide.

Spring Random Re-Gift Swap

Time for the Spring Random Re-Gift Swap!

Notice there is no "secret" in the title. Based on some awesome feedback (and some not so awesome feedback) this swap you will have a partner.

That's right ~ you will be sending to and receiving from the same person!

After sign ups close on February 22nd, I will post partners along with a link to their email address on Sunday February 24th.

Since this is a Spring swap please make sure your package gets to your partner before March 20th ~the first day of Spring.

On Sunday March 23rd we can share what we received in a show and tell post.

A bit of a disclaimer. PPLLEEAASSEE don't sign up unless you will follow through and send your partner something. Swappers get very disappointed when they send their package out into the world and then don't receive anything back. I know that it is not about the material stuff, but it still feels pretty crummy to be the one who doesn't get a package in the mail and it also feels pretty crummy to send a package and not get a thank you. So like my daughter always says pretty please with a cherry on top ~ be a courteous swapper! Thank you. I know some people who host a swap chase down people who don't send items on time or fill in for lame swap partners, but this is a community blog so that won't be my role in this swap. I am happy to be your hostess, but I am also asking you to do your part.

Random Re-Gift Secret Swap

I was inspired by Mindy and Nina (I write a bit about why here) to host a

*****Random Re-Gift Secret Swap*****

What to swap? Once you have the name of who you are sending to sit for a moment to feel their energy. (It also might help to check out their blog if they have one.) Then just grab some type of container and walk around your home filling it up with goodies that you instinctively think your recipient would like. This could be something you made, something someone gave to you, but it doesn't fit your life, or something you bought for someone else, but never gave it to them ~

Be Open! Be Creative! Have Fun! But no buying anything for this swap!

If you are interested in participating in this swap leave a comment on this post letting me know I want to swap and include your email address in your comment. I will email you asking for your mailing address. This will give you some time to re-think the swap. It is not that I don't want you to participate, but sometimes we over commit ourselves and this makes sure everyone is truly prepared to play!

Once I have all the swappers I will randomly pick the person you are sending to and then I will email you their mailing address.

Sometimes we are so excited to receive something fun in the mail that we forget to thank our gifter and the gifter is left wondering Did they get my package? Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope or postcard with your gift. This way your recipient can thank you and you the gifter will get the wonderful bonus of receiving a thank you note!

Sign Ups for the Random Re-Gift Secret Swap close midnight EST December 26th, 2007 ~Then through out the following week I will email you the address of who you send to.

Mail packages by January 15th 2008 and January 27th I will have a show and tell post so you can share pictures of your goodies.
